A two-part flat roof project on a multi-level townhome building set into the hillside above the Rocky River valley. On one roof, water had been ponding after rain, so we installed a new 60 mil Carlisle TPO roof over tapered insulation. The tapered boards build slope into the flat roof so water drains off instead of collecting, which protects the membrane and seams and takes weight off the structure. The other roof sections were recoated with silicone roof coating. It's a seamless, UV-resistant membrane that handles ponding water and extends the life of an existing roof without a tear-off.
