Inspections

The two primary benefits of Inspections include;  1.  the ability to fix roof system defects before they permit water entry, and 2. to enable your current roof system to last longer.

All roof leaks occur because some component with the roof system failed.   There are a myriad of causes as to why roof components may fail and we won't go into that here.  Lets begin however, by offering some definitions.  When we identify a failed roof component we refer to it as a "defect".  There are two (2) types of defects.   The first type, and most serious, is the defect permitting water to enter the system right now and causing your roof to leak.  These we call "high severity".  The final type includes all other defects and we call these "low severity".   Generally all "high severity" defects started out as "low severity" but they were neglected over time and grew progressively worse until, you guessed it...the roof leaks.   Please click on "pictures" to view photos of real life defects from various roofs in, and around, the greater Cleveland area.

If you have not experienced obtaining a new roof lately, then you are probably unaware of just how expensive they can be.  Roofing can be very expensive in some situations.  The point we are making is if you are able to maximize the life span of your current roof system, and thereby delay expensive re-roofing, we suspect your budget will be all the more available for other investments.  The nub about investing in a new roof is it's unlikely to cause your sales and earnings to increase.  You and your business will benefit if you can take those same dollars and invest in, say, a new, more efficient machine for your production line.

We perform roof inspections all the time.  Some of our customers really do believe that prevention applied over the life of their roof system will provide them with the two primary benefits we mentioned above, and ultimately save them money and aggravation.  Again, they are; 1.  prevent the roof from leaking in the first place and  2.  maximize the life span.  We have adopted an "Inspection Agreement" which describes the service and identifies the details.  To view an example "Inspection Agreeement" just click the link.
